Using the push to open door technique & installing a Caeserstone top provided the client with the clean modern finish they desired.
This Cedar timber storage unit was designed to blend into the existing surroundings, with the benefit of minimal maintenance. There is ample space behind the sliding doors for bikes, surf boards etc.
Understanding the clients vision we decided on a finished product of a classic bookcase, finished in a tassie oak veneer timber, using a modern soft close drawer technique. The unit provides ample storage space for a large DVD collection & books etc.
After discussing the requirements with the client & using inspiration from the decor of the house, we were able to come up with a functional unit that also looks the part.
Hidden behind the doors is ample storage space, a computer workstation for the kids & CD storage.
The detailed panelled doors have been spray painted in a semi gloss white polyurethane finish to give the unit a classic look.
